Founder | Curator | Editor
Born and raised in Miami, Florida Franceasca split her time curating in art galleries and working in the entertainment industry. She began as a fine art photographer and a writer/director & producer’s assistant. This led to her working on film sets as a production coordinator/manager while receiving her BFA in Photography with a minor in Art History. At 20 years old Franceasca had her first group show in LA, the curator encouraged her to start making her own films. In 2005, Franceasca graduated with her MFA in Film Production and Film Theory at Miami International University of Art & Design.
That same year, she co‐founded 3GZ Productions, an indie film production company with Venezuelan born, director & editor, Iris B. Cegarra. Together they produced, directed, wrote and cut short films, music videos, commercials and became Miami’s most talked about female duo with their international hit and award‐winning documentary Darkbeat, an Electro World Voyage. Darkbeat focus’s on the beginning of the electro music scene from Kraftwerk, Afrika Bambaata, Cybotron to the equipment used, producers, artist’s and promoters of today and yesterday.
Franceasca’s short films Wicked Garden, Out of Sync and The Theater were selected for various film festivals. She curated Women in Film and Experimental Film & Video at The Miami Beach Cinematheque as well as the 3GZ Ultra Video Lounge, at Ultra Music Festival during the largest electronic music gathering, Winter Music Conference. Seiden moved to Los Angeles in 2008 and immediately began writing and producing for FX Network before moving to Al Gore’s cable channel, Current TV.
Seiden recently reunited with her childhood friend, actress, Marieh Delfino, to form their production company, A Play Date productions. Seiden and Delfino have penned several original scripted television comedies and feature films that are generating buzz in the entertainment community.
Seiden works as a curator for private clients & public spaces, she is currently curating several volumes of fine art photography books spanning from 1899 to the present. In addition, she curates in both private homes & public spaces. Splitting her time in between filmmaking and visual arts.
